Seven Kinds of Dangerous Food







1. Avocado

     Avocado should not be given to dogs because it contains a substance called persin. This substance is not too dangerous to humans who do not have allergies, but these substances are really dangerous to animals (including dogs). A little bit of this substance will make your dogs get diarrhea.


 2. Alcohol
Beer and another alcoholic beverages (or food) is not good for dogs. Just like humans, the effect will damage dog's brain and liver. Although it won' be really dangerous like chocolate and avocado, but with small quantities of alcohol will cause vomiting, diarrhea, and cause a nerve damage too, even death.



3. Onions

     Onion in many forms, will destroy dogs' red blood cells, that will cause anemia. This phenomenon is also found when a baby consuming baby food which contained garlic powder. Onions can become a poison.



4. Coffee, Tea, and Other Caffeine Sources
     Caffeine can kill dogs! And there is no antidote. The symptoms are heart will pound really fast, seizures, irregular breathing, bleeding. Caffeine is found in tea or coffee, chocolate, and energy drinks. And also found in cold medicines and pain killer



5. Grapes and Raisins

     Grapes and raisins are sometimes given to dogs but this is not a good idea because it can cause kidney failure in dogs, although only a small amount. The symptoms are vomiting and then your dog will become limp. You must ttake it to your doctor immediately!



6. Chocolate

     Chocolate contains theobromine, a chemical that is really dangerous to dogs in large enough quantities. Caffeine is also found in chocolate. Different types of chocolate contain amounts of theobromine and caffeine, for example, dark chocolate. Cooking chocolate contains more of these compounds than milk chocolate. In fact, a bar of chocolate can cause illness in your dog. Chocolate toxicity can also cause vomiting, diarrhea, rapid heartbeat or irregular, restlessness, muscle tremors, and seizures. Death can occur within 24 hours after he swallowed it.

7. Salt

     Salt can make your dogs spur urine and sodium poisoning. The symptoms are vomiting, seizures, fever. Salt can also make dog hair fall out.
